To meet Ewa’s growing retail needs, Property Development Centers (a Safeway subsidiary) developed Laulani Village, a new shopping complex with over 218,000 sq. ft. of retail space. A 60,000 sq. ft. Safeway, the company’s 20th store in Hawaii, opened on November 15, 2012, and anchors the complex.

A total of 70 retailers and service providers are expected to populate Laulani Village upon completion. Retailers will include home improvement/hardware, apparel, lifestyle and restaurants. A two-story office building will provide space for doctors, dentists, lawyers, accountants and other professionals. Laulani Village is located on a 20-acre parcel at the corner of Fort Weaver Rd. and Keaunui Dr., across from Hawaii Prince Golf Club. The main entry is at the intersection of Keaunui Dr. and Lakiku St. (across from the Latitudes by Gentry subdivision), where a new traffic signal was installed. A new private driveway surrounding the site provides an alternate means of entry and exit.
